Today’s photo is a young bride who was willing to put her wedding dress on and let me practice. This is one of my favorite close up portraits we made. We created it at the main branch of the Hammond Public Library.

Today’s photo is a couple of little fishing buddies. I love this tropical location.
Today’s photo is more traditional. There are no textures or color effects added. This is pretty much how I envisioned the shot when first pressed the shutter. I like how the lines in the bricks lead your eyes right to the subject. I also like the warmth and the coloring.
Today’s photo is from an engagement session for Mike and Michelle. They are a really great couple and I had a lot of fun photographing their engagement as well as their wedding. What I really like about this photo is that the purple they are wearing really sets them apart from the mostly green background.
Today’s portrait is a high school senior in his football uniform. This is one that I overlooked back when I first photographed him. As I was going back through them looking for a photo, it caught my eye. I added some texture and gave it a whole new attitude.
Today’s photo is Tiffany of the Duneland Chamber of Commerce. Come see Tiffany this summer at Chesterton’s European Market which I can’t believe is only a few weeks away. Opening weekend is Saturday May 7. I have been going for the past two years and can’t wait for this coming summer. The food vendors alone are worth the trip.
Today’s photo is a high school senior created at Stoney Run Park in Crown Point. Like most of my typical sessions, we walked around looking for cool backgrounds and light. I liked the background and the light here. I like how her blue outfit makes her stand out from the green and brown background. I also like how the trees and the horizon lead your eye to her.
Today’s photo of the day was something a little different and fun. We had finished creating some great photos at the Radisson in Merrillville during The Times Bridal Show last year and were headed back to the booth. When we walked past the arcade I had to have a photo in there so I put her at the pinball game and quickly got this.
Today’s photo is a high school senior photographed in downtown Chesterton. This is one of my favorites from an evening around the streets of Chesterton. I particularly like the mix of greenery and urban style.
